Track your miniature paint collection by photo or by hand, mix your own recipes, and build a paint list for every project — all in one place.
Dropper Bottle for Windows and Mac is FREE
Android and iOS coming soon. Use your free Windows version to start building your collection so you can sync it to your device right away when your preferred version is available
Running the installer brings up a blue box saying Windows protected your PC. Click More info, then Run anyway. The button you need is hidden until you click More info.
Windows shows that for any installer it has not seen downloaded thousands of times, whatever is inside it. Dropper Bottle keeps your collection on your own PC, works offline, has no account, no ads and no tracking, and the Windows version is free with everything unlocked.
Windows is free. Not a trial — the whole app, no payment, ever. No ads, no subscriptions, no data collection. Ever.
Already bought a copy here, or would rather not wait for a store? Download the Android APK directly — same app, and the only build that can redeem a receipt from this site.
Snap a photo and sample the color off the bottle, or enter the maker and color by hand.
A searchable paint inventory covering Citadel, Vallejo, The Army Painter, Tamiya, Mr. Hobby (GSI Creos), AK Interactive, AMMO by Mig Jimenez, Reaper, Scale75, Two Thin Coats, Monument Pro Acryl, Mission Models, TT Combat, Ionic Smart Colors, Green Stuff World, Turbo Dork, P3, Liquitex, Golden, LifeColor, Badger Minitaire, Warcolours, Ultracryl, Coat d'Arms, Secret Weapon Miniatures, Kimera Kolors, The Colour Forge and Gaianotes — with the color codes taken from each manufacturer's own charts, not guessed.
Try to add a paint you already own and Dropper Bottle offers to bump the quantity instead of creating a second entry.
Mix up to four paints in a ratio, preview the blended color, and save it as your own custom paint.
Pull paints from your whole collection into a running list for whatever you're painting right now.
Texture paints, weathering pigments, grass tufts, water effects — tracked separately from your run-of-the-mill dropper bottles.
Free, no download: Citadel to Vallejo, Vallejo to Army Painter, Tamiya to Mr. Hobby and more — computed with ΔE2000 from each manufacturer's own published values, with the close-but-not-exact matches labeled honestly.

On Google Play it's US$4.99, handled by Google. The amounts below are for buying direct from this site — and for chipping in if you're on Windows, where the app is free.
Early supporter pricing, while Dropper Bottle finds its feet.
These prices will go up as the app grows. Whatever you pay is one-time — it stays yours, including everything added later.
Dropper Bottle isn't on the Play Store, so your phone will warn you once during install. This is expected. Android shows that warning for every app installed from outside the store — it's a statement about where the file came from, not about whether it's safe.
You only do this once. Updates install normally afterwards.
The Windows app is free, so there is nothing to refund there. On Android, Dropper Bottle is a one-time purchase and the first 25 paints are free — enough to put a real shelf into it and use every feature before you decide whether to pay.
If you bought it and it isn't for you, email me within 14 days of purchase and I'll refund you in full. No form to fill in and no reason needed — just tell me the email address you paid with.
Dropper Bottle catalogs 6,800+ paints from 29 manufacturers and works offline on Android and Windows. Its distinguishing feature is the camera: point it at a bottle in a shop and it reads the label and tells you whether that paint is already on your shelf at home. It is a one-time purchase with no subscription, no ads and no account.
Open "Do I own this?", hold the bottle up and take a photo. The app reads the label on-device and checks both the name and the color against your collection. If you don't own it, it offers to put it on your shopping list.
Citadel, Vallejo, The Army Painter, Tamiya, Mr. Hobby (GSI Creos), AK Interactive, AMMO by Mig Jimenez, Reaper, Scale75, Two Thin Coats, Monument Pro Acryl, Mission Models, TT Combat, Ionic Smart Colors, Green Stuff World, Turbo Dork, P3, Liquitex, Golden, LifeColor, Badger Minitaire, Warcolours and Ultracryl. It also tracks the things that aren't paint but still get bought twice: plastic cements, surfacers and primers, thinners, top coats, panel line accents, putties and weathering products.
It works entirely offline and your collection never leaves your device. There is no account and no server copy. Moving a collection to a second device is done directly, by QR code, a text code, or over your own Wi-Fi — nothing passes through a server.
No, and there never will be. The Windows and Mac apps are free outright. On Android the first 25 paints are free, and after that a one-time payment of US$4.99 covers everything, including whatever is added later. There is no advertising and no usage tracking of any kind.
Not currently. Dropper Bottle runs on Android 5.1 and later, and on Windows. The Windows app also hosts Wi-Fi sync with a phone.
Yes. Combine up to four paints by ratio, preview the blended color, and save the result as your own paint so it can be used in projects and shopping lists like any other. The app can also suggest the closest mix achievable from paints you already own.
